What should I pack for mobile nail service?
When traveling for mobile services you should always have the following. Products for manicure/pedicure and full set application
- Towels
- Extension cord
- Paper towels
- Attachable lamp
- Small plastic bag for garbage
- Buff & Go towel bag
- Implements
- Alcohol
- Sanitizer
- Polish remover / Acetone
- Cotton pads
- Candle
- UV light
- Polish
- Receipt book
- Appointment book
And always remember to take only travel size bottles and close all bottles tightly.
What packages should I offer?
You should always offer a manicure and pedicure combo for nail services. A facial and massage package and a hair and make- up package. The icing on the cake is to also offer a brow and lash combo. Remember to be creative and to use the buff &go spa products to provide clients with the most luxurious spa services on the go. Get ready to turn your passion into profit.
How do I attract new mobile clients?
Attracting new mobile clients is a key component to building your mobile spa business. Below are a few examples of how to build your clientele.
Introduce yourself by saying, Hello. My name is Jennifer Ellison. I am a professional mobile nail technician. If you would host a gathering and invite 5-10 of your family and friends who would like manicure and/or pedicure services, I will do your services for free. Please call me for your next girl’s night in.
If you have clients already, ask them to have a pamper party or gathering. You may offer the Spa party hosts 15%-20% off their services or 15% cash back for total services.
- Get business cards printed advertising your mobile nail service.
- Call your local florist or wedding planner to list your mobile business.
- If you have a spa, salon or barber shop, add mobile spa to your price list.
- Post mobile spa info on all social media websites.
- Send e-mail to family and friends about mobile services.
- Don’t forget to Post great deals and discount offers on Facebook and Twitter
- You can also take advantage of coupon websites to offer discounts on services like Groupon and Living Social.

If I am a Cosmetology student, can I benefit from the Buff & Go?
Whether you are an Esthetician, Make-up Artist, Barber, Cosmetologist or Nail Technician, this workstation is for you.
The separate compartments are roomy enough to store a curling stand, mirror, clippers, curling irons, and much more. Storage containers with lids can hold product, tools, rollers, and make-up and the 15x 16" work surface can compete with any portable workstation or table. All beauty professionals can benefit from using the Buff & Go workstation.
What price should I charge?
When traveling to mobile clients using your Buff&Go beauty workstation, this is considered a VIP service. Spa manicure and pedicure in a salon will typically cost anywhere from $55-$65. The luxury and convenience of receiving a mobile spa manicure or pedicure services generally cost from $65-$95 & up. Prices vary depending on the number of guests.
Can the Buff & Go unit fit in any size car?
The Buff & Go unit easily fits in either the trunk area or back seat of many small and medium size cars. For safety, please close all products tightly when placing them in the Buff&Go.
I wonder if the Buff & Go moves when servicing a client due to the wheels?
The unit does not roll while performing services. The Buff & Go unit has wheels on the back of the unit; however the front of the unit sits flush with the floor when stationary for safe manicure services.
Will any size foot tub fit in the Buff & Go unit?
No. The Buff & Go unit has two different models, Dr. Scholl's foot spa with bubbles model # DR6624 and the Belava foot bath w/disposable liners. The Belava heater /massager unit also fits nicely in the buff&go unit.
Does your company sell any other products?
Yes Buff & Go has a line of spa products which includes scrubs, soaks, balms, oils and rose blossom soaps ,scented candles .and several retail items are also available.
What form of payment should I accept?
Cash and most major credit cards are typically the best form of payment. If you plan to accept credit card payments for your mobile clients there are a few tools and mobile applications you can use to make processing payments easy. There is a tool called square that is a device that allows for processing payments directly from your mobile smartphone.
